We are seeking a Environmental Field Inspector to lead complex environmental and occupational health assessments across a range of built environments. In this role, you will conduct and oversee inspections involving asbestos, lead, mold, and other hazardous materials, while ensuring full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.

Blending technical expertise with project leadership, you will manage field investigations, interpret data, and deliver clear, actionable guidance to clients. As a senior member of the team, you will serve as a trusted expert, helping organizations identify risks, maintain compliance, and create safer, healthier environments for the people they serve.

Salary Range: $75000.00 - $85000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental inspections and air quality assessments across a variety of properties
  • Develop clear remediation and mitigation recommendations based on findings
  • Lead and manage projects from fieldwork through reporting and completion
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and insurance representatives to ensure project success
  • Prepare and deliver professional technical reports and client communications
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, timelines, and compliance with company standards

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in environmental consulting, industrial hygiene, or related fieldwork (asbestos, lead, mold, IAQ)
  • Proven experience conducting environmental assessments and delivering client-facing recommendations
  • Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulatory standards
  • Ability to manage projects, interpret technical data, and produce clear, professional reports
  • Proficiency with standard business software and documentation tools
  • Valid drivers license with ability to travel to job sites and perform field inspections
