Role Description Arcadis is seeking an experienced Environmental Technician to work in the Atlanta, GA area, supporting clients in surrounding states. The role involves surface and groundwater monitoring and sampling, soil sampling, soil remediation oversight, operation and maintenance of remedial systems, and subcontractor oversight. Field work is required and occasional reporting to field offices. Relocation support may be considered.Responsibilities Groundwater, soil, and vapor samplingImplementation of various field activities including permit compliance sampling, monitoring well development and repair, waste management, etc.Remediation system operation, maintenance, and monitoringSite inspectionsOversight of subcontractors to perform selected operationsRemedial action field support such as in‑situ injection and source removal activitiesQualifications & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent6+ years environmental field experienceOSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs., hold a valid driver's license, and work independently or lead small teamsDemonstrated ability to read, understand, and complete scopes of work with limited supervisionFamiliarity with environmental standards, remedial systems, and related practicesPreferred/Beneficial Qualifications (if not already obtained):Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or Trade School certificate/diplomaTWIC Card, DOT HazMat shipping training10‑hour OSHA construction safety trainingBenefits Full‑time position includes medical, dental, vision, EAP, 401(k), STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward and recognition program, wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance, and tuition reimbursement.
