Responsibilities
This role is primarily responsible for:
Meal preparation, including cooking for 12 patients
Following approved menus
General facility cleaning, including patient suites, kitchen, and common area.
Suite management
Household management
Grocery management - purchasing and inventory
Ordering/shopping
Kitchen infection control and appropriate food labeling.
Laundry
Driving
Community integration activities
Patient monitoring and documentation as appropriate
This role may include assisting with patient functional activities, kitchen safety, or general oversight- according to therapist direction, or facility need.
Driving as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- BLS certification through American Heart Association required
- Current State Driver''s License in good standing required
Preferred Experience
- 2 years experience in an assisted living or rehabilitation environment preferred
- Experience in housekeeping and food services preferred
- Ability to delegate and problem solve effectively
