The Fountain Group is currently seeking an Environmental Health and Safetyfor a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Plymouth, MNDetails for the position are as follows:

Payrate: $40-42/hr W2 (without benefits)

Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety
Location: Plymouth, MN
Duration: 6 months contract (high possibility to extend based on performance/budget)

Shift: 8am to 5pm.

Job Description:
  • Past position emphasized Safety over environmental components.
  • Day 2 day EHS work - investigations, documentations, program management, audit readiness, compliance/regulatory, oversee EHS trainings, equipment/mechanical aptitude helpful.
  • Support global EHS processes,
  • Prefers some experience, manufacturing environments favored - but also open to new/er grads as well. asked about 2 profiles - HM preferred some experience vs fresh grad profiles.
Bachelors in EHS related field or technical discipline - related Certs a plus
  • Ideally 2+ years' experience supporting EHS, Environmental Health and Safety Programs - (EHS/HSE/SHE/EH&S) ------ well versed with environmental regulatory and compliance aspects for a project that includes equipment decommissioning, physical plant modifications, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Broad knowledge of EHS regulations, current Safety, Health, and Environmental issues - risk management, regulatory and internal compliance
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing and the following regulatory programs CAAPP, NPDES, SPCC RCRA

Responsibilities:
  • Provides employee training, plant inspections, hazard evaluations and standards promulgation to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Responsible for the industrial hygiene program, develop, update and conduct regulatory required training.
  • Update the Respiratory Protection Program, Update lock/out tagout program, update hazard communication program, assist with EHS committees, day to day assistance with health and safety issues.
