We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business and enjoy wild growth and working with hungry, over‑achieving teammates.Key Responsibilities Site EHS LeadershipProvide strategic and operational leadership for all EHS programs at the site, advise site leadership on EHS risk and regulatory exposure, and lead the site EHS team.Environmental Compliance & PermittingOversee compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, manage air permitting (TitleV), hazardous waste operations (RCRA), wastewater discharge, stormwater management, chemical storage, and lead regulatory reporting and agency engagement.Risk ManagementProvide EHS oversight for high‑hazard chemical use, safe management of gas cabinets, bulk chemical distribution systems, abatement systems, and chemical waste treatment operations. Support safety programs such as confined space, electrical safety, lockout/tagout, and machine safety.Occupational Health & SafetyEnsure OSHA compliance, oversee industrial hygiene, respiratory protection, hearing conservation, ergonomics, injury prevention programs, contractor safety, incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and performance indicators.Emergency Preparedness & Business ContinuityDirect site emergency response planning for chemical release, fire, severe weather, utility disruptions; coordinate drills, training and local emergency responders.EHS Management System & Continuous ImprovementLead development, implementation, and governance of a unified EHS Management System aligned with ISO14001 and ISO45001, coordinate internal audits and certification activities, and promote continuous improvement through data, risk assessments and cross‑functional collaboration.Qualifications EducationBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, or related field; Master's or MBA preferred.ExperienceMinimum 10+ years in progressive EHS roles, including 5+ years managing site EHS programs; experience in semiconductor manufacturing, advanced electronics, chemical manufacturing, or similarly high‑hazard process industries strongly preferred.Certifications (preferred)CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager).KnowledgeStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA environmental requirements, North Carolina environmental regulations and permitting processes, ISO14001 and ISO45001 implementation and audit readiness, semiconductor fabrication processes, HVAC, scrubbers, abatement, and chemical distribution infrastructure.SkillsStrong leadership presence, clear communicator, analytical capability, metric‑driven, experienced with EHS management software and enterprise reporting systems, ability to lead in a fast‑paced 24/7 manufacturing environment.Salary Range The salary range for this position is $120,000 – $170,000 USD.EEO Statement We are an equal‑opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
