BS degree in Chemistry or related science field (ie Biology) Experience working in a laboratory performing • Chemical analysis including, but not limited to TSS, Oil & Grease, • Ion chromatography, • Gas chromatography, • ICP-MS, • atomic absorption, • coal and/or fuel oil sulfur content. Handling, preparing, and analyzing various environmental samples according to EPA, ASTM, or other protocols. Experience with quality control requirements for analytical methods. Experience in chemical nomenclature, instrumentation, and inorganic analytical methods including EPA methodology supporting NPDES, RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, and EPA Solid Waste - 846 methods (Test Methods for Evaluating Solid Waste, Physical/Chemical Methods).
