The Environmental Manager performs and participates in procedures and programs to minimize environmental risks and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements by performing the following duties:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Completes all tasks associated with air and water permitting, waste management and environmental compliance
Comfortable working with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with permit requirements
Must be able to research, read, and understand federal, state, and local regulations
Works with minimal supervision
Performs facility audits, inspections, and training
Implements procedures as needed for compliance
Accurate and timely reporting
May be responsible for environmental projects at plant location
Travel to industrial plant locations in the US approximately twice per month.
