The City of Raleigh is seeking an enthusiastic Summer Environmental & Outdoor Recreation Educators for Lake Johnson Park. Environmental & Outdoor Recreation Educators are responsible for providing outstanding customer service and facilitating a memorable program experience. Lake Johnson Park is comprised of a 150 lake and 350 acres of wooded park and nature preserve. The Summer Environmental & Outdoor Recreation Educators is a key member of our staff and contributes by working with patrons through educational experiences Successful candidates will lead recreational and nature based programs, effectively communicate with other staff members, and adapt to dynamic work environments in the classroom and in the field. The position will attend all City trainings and perform instructional duties as required.
