Introduction
The DNREC Sediment and Stormwater Management Program operates within the Division of Watershed Stewardshipâs Conservation Programs Section. The program employs a comprehensive approach to sediment control (both during and after construction) and stormwater management that includes monitoring of stormwater quantity and water quality control.

Summary Statement
This position is responsible for overseeing the State''s Sediment and Stormwater Program as well as the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Construction General Permit (CGP), Sediment and Stormwater Regulations, enforcement of and compliance with approved Sediment and Stormwater Management Plans, the NDPES CGP, and state and federal laws, rules, and regulations. Program oversight includes coordination and delivery of training programs to the regulated community, coordination of program efforts with the Delegated Agencies and the EPA, and responding to stormwater concerns in the State. Additional responsibilities include supervision of 8 full-time positions. Other critical needs include budgetary tracking to achieve the programmatic goals and commitments of the Program.
