IBM is seeking an experienced environmental program manager with strong regulatory and compliance expertise. In this role, you will use your technical skills to effectively manage environmental programs including groundwater, soil vapor intrusion, indoor air quality, hazardous waste, and wastewater. This role is based on-site in Poughkeepsie, NY and will directly support compliance with IBM corporate environmental programs as well as local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
In this role, you will work closely with site operations, facility engineering, design and construction teams, as well as external regulators to develop work plans for regulatory compliance of critical site programs and projects that intersect with groundwater, soil, vapor, waste and industrial wastewater management. This will include developing alternative analysis and compliance approach strategies that best support business needs. You will lead environmental reporting and inspections across multiple New York State DEC divisions including water, solid and hazardous waste and environmental remediation as well as engage with NYDEC and federal environmental regulators. You will interface with these agencies to support facilities operations and evaluate emerging regulatory requirements.
