Sierra Piedmont Inc. is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Engineer/Manager with 5-10 years of experience and PE certification in Georgia. You will work closely with all technical and client facing personnel to execute projects, train and mentor junior associates, and work as a team member to initiate and deepen client relationships. be responsible for holding multiple state registrations and be the engineering technical lead on all applicable projects which may include:

• Phase I and II due diligence investigation

• Subsurface soil and groundwater investigation in preparation for remediation

• Underground storage tank closures and remedial plans

• Remediation system design, installation and monitoring

• Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure plans (SPCC)

• Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)

• Various areas of regulatory compliance and auditing

Required Qualifications and Experience

The company has designated the following as required credentials for this position:

• B.S. in environmental, chemical or civil engineering

• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Georgia

• Already have or obtain a NCEES file to satisfy a P.E. registration in others states as needed

• 5-10 years experience which should show a methodical progression in project complexity including environmental compliance groundwater/soil, remediation and due diligence services

• Successful advancement into project management and some account management experience is preferred, resulting in knowledge of a wide variety of industry sectors and facility types

• Specific technical experience must include knowledge of contamination assessment and remediation design and implementation

• Professional development courses, especially in the area of communications and technical writing would be beneficial
