We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Environmental Remediation Project Manager** to join our **Environmental Remediation team** in **Kenova, West Virginia** . This is an exciting opportunity to lead impactful environmental initiatives, advance into a larger leadership role, and contribute to AECOM’s mission of delivering sustainable and innovative solutions for our clients. **Key Responsibilities:** **Project Management:** + Lead and manage environmental remediation, assessment, and oil & gas projects from initiation to completion. + Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. **Technical Expertise:** + Apply technical knowledge to address environmental challenges, including remediation, groundwater contamination, soil treatment, waste management, and environmental compliance for oil and gas facilities, refineries, and industrial sites. **Client Relations:** + Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, regulators, and stakeholders. + Ensure excellent customer service and timely communication regarding project updates, risks, and outcomes. **Regulatory Compliance:** + Stay up to date with environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards. + Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations. **Office Leadership:** + Manage and lead a team of professionals within the local office. + Provide mentorship, training, and career development support to junior engineers, geologists, and project staff. **Business Development:** + Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities. + Assist with proposal development, contract negotiations, and client presentations. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field. + 6+ years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project management, and business development, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education. + US Citizen or US Permanent Resident. + Valid Driver’s License. + Successful candidate will have to pass a drug screen and background check. **Preferred Qualifications:** + 10+ years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project management, and business development. + Licensed in the State of West Virginia or nearby states (Professional Engineer or Geologist). + Experience working with state regulatory agencies in West Virginia or surrounding states. + Experience in team management and scheduling of staff and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery. + Proven experience in business development. + 40-hour HAZWOPER certified (current), including 8-hour Supervisor training. + PMP certification. + Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations. + Demonstrated success in managing environmental projects for various types of clients. + Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written. + Superior communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills for diverse audiences. + Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders. **Additional Information** Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
