POSITION SUMMARY
Titan Environmental Solutions is seeking assistance recruiting a full-time Environmental Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in Fullerton, California. This role is responsible for reviewing and quality-checking environmental consulting reports prior to issuance to clients. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, industrial hygienists, environmental professionals, and administrative staff to ensure technical accuracy, consistency, completeness, and professional presentation of all deliverables.
This position offers significant growth opportunities within Titan Environmental Solutions and may evolve into a senior Quality Assurance / Quality Control leadership role responsible for developing quality standards, managing review workflows, training staff, and supporting operational excellence across the organization.
Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Review environmental consulting reports for technical accuracy, consistency, completeness, grammar, formatting, and professional presentation before client release.
· Identify inconsistencies, omissions, missing information, unclear language, formatting issues, and potential quality concerns within lengthy technical reports.
· Cross-check field notes, sample IDs, laboratory analytical results, chains of custody, site photographs, figures, tables, exhibits, and appendices against report narratives, findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
· Confirm reports align with company standards, client expectations, applicable regulatory considerations, internal QA/QC procedures, and project-specific requirements.
· Review reports for appropriate use of regulatory, industrial hygiene, and environmental terminology, including asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, indoor air quality, hazardous materials, occupational exposure, and environmental site assessment language.
· Confirm final reports include all required sections, exhibits, tables, appendices, limitations, certifications, laboratory documentation, photographs, and other client- or project-specific deliverables before issuance.
· Coordinate with project managers, industrial hygienists, environmental professionals, and administrative staff to resolve edits, clarify report details, and address potential technical, regulatory, contractual, or client-service concerns prior to release.
· Support project managers and technical staff by reducing administrative review burdens and improving the efficiency, quality, and consistency of client deliverables.
· Identify recurring report deficiencies, process inefficiencies, training opportunities, and quality trends, and provide recommendations to improve report consistency, turnaround times, and overall operational efficiency.
· Support consistent document formatting, report structure, terminology, boilerplate language, and overall deliverable quality across departments and service lines.
· Maintain and improve QA/QC checklists, report review logs, recurring error trackers, correction workflows, standardized templates, terminology guides, formatting standards, and quality-control procedures.
· Assist with improving QA/QC workflows, report templates, AI-assisted review processes, prompts, verification steps, and human-in-the-loop review checklists to support responsible and effective technical report review.
INTERNAL LEADERSHIP EXPECTATIONS

· Assist with developing QA/QC standards, review checklists, report templates, and best practices across service lines while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
· Support development of quality standards and review workflows that improve operational consistency across environmental service lines.
· Help identify training needs and process gaps that impact report quality, client deliverables, and project manager efficiency.
