·  Review reports for appropriate use of regulatory, industrial hygiene, and environmental terminology, including asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, indoor air quality, hazardous materials, occupational exposure, and environmental site assessment language.

·  Confirm final reports include all required sections, exhibits, tables, appendices, limitations, certifications, laboratory documentation, photographs, and other client- or project-specific deliverables before issuance.

·  Coordinate with project managers, industrial hygienists, environmental professionals, and administrative staff to resolve edits, clarify report details, and address potential technical, regulatory, contractual, or client-service concerns prior to release.

Requirements

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong technical writing, editing, proofreading, organizational, and quality assurance skills, with experience reviewing lengthy technical reports for inconsistencies, omissions, formatting issues, and overall deliverable quality.
  • Environmental consulting experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with prior experience reviewing asbestos, lead, mold, industrial hygiene, hazardous materials, environmental compliance, engineering, or laboratory reports will receive strong consideration.
  • Familiarity with asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, indoor air quality, hazardous materials, occupational exposure monitoring, and Phase I/Phase II environmental site assessment reporting.
  • Ability to interpret laboratory analytical reports, sample result tables, detection limits, units of measure, and basic QA/QC documentation.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical professional who is process-driven, comfortable with technology, and able to identify errors, inconsistencies, and opportunities to improve deliverables.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with strong written communication skills, including the ability to professionally challenge inconsistencies and take satisfaction in improving systems—not simply writing reports.
  • Working knowledge of technical report components, including site descriptions, sampling methodologies, findings, conclusions, recommendations, limitations, appendices, figures, photo logs, and laboratory attachments.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies between narrative text, tables, figures, laboratory data, photographs, appendices, and other supporting documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word advanced formatting and review tools, including tracked changes, comments, styles, tables, headers/footers, templates, and PDF review tools.
  • Detail-oriented work style with the ability to manage multiple documents, deadlines, priorities, and internal stakeholders while maintaining production timelines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with project managers, technical professionals, and administrative teams to resolve report comments efficiently.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar technologies is preferred as Titan continues implementing AI-assisted workflows and document review processes.
  • Certifications or training related to asbestos, lead, mold, industrial hygiene, environmental science, occupational safety, environmental compliance, or QA/QC are a plus.
  • Preferred educational background or coursework in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Technical Writing, Environmental Studies, or a related technical field.
  • Relevant prior experience preferred in environmental consulting, laboratories, compliance, QA/QC, technical editing, document control, or project management.
