Title: Environmental Remediation Group Site Manager

Location: Saltville, VA

Salary: $85,500-$129,552.

Focus: The Environmental Remediation Group (ERG) Site Manager is responsible for operating and maintaining the site environmental treatment systems as required to comply with the applicable permits and Olin policy.

Environmental Remediation Group Site Manager Essential Functions:

  • Manage site operations and personnel including employees, consultants, and contractors.
  • Operate and maintain remediation systems in compliance with permits and regulatory requirements.
  • Support environmental monitoring and sampling including data collection, reporting, and documentation.
  • Oversee site property and infrastructure maintenance including equipment, utilities, and security features.
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors, and waste shipments to ensure safe and compliant site activities.
  • Support site budgets, procurement, and supplies including chemicals, materials, and repair parts.
  • Provide technical input and team support for remedial investigations, construction projects, and special assignments.

Environmental Remediation Group Site Manager Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 10 years of operating and maintenance experience in a chemical plant or wastewater treatment facility.

  • Familiarity with Ground Water Sampling Techniques preferred.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Grade II Industrial Waste Water Treatment License.

  • Must be able to complete applicable Olin required training. These will include, at a minimum, the following:

  • OSHA 40-Hour and 8-Hour Refresher

  • DOT - Shipping and Hazardous Waste

  • Massachusetts Waste Water License - Minimum of Grade II

  • Experience in operating a forklift preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Experience with Adobe preferred.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
