Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Geology, Hydrology, Environmental Science or related field. Two years of professional experience in an environmental regulatory agency or two years of professional administrative experience involving environmental policies or issues to include grants administration, report development, project management, procedure development, education or enforcement are required. Must possess a Driver license.

The Environmental Resources Project Supervisor is the liaison for MDAD, RER, and DERM regarding site rehabilitation, permitting, construction, and compliance in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities include project management of due diligence and site rehabilitation projects, which consist of reviewing and negotiating scopes of work, cost proposals, invoices, schedules, as well as preparation of work orders and coordination with the various County User Departments (MDAD, HCD, DTPW, PROS, WASD, MDFR, etc.).
Additional responsibilities also entail reviewing and responding to technical documents concerning due diligence, site assessment, monitoring, soil reuse, remediation, and construction plans that may be technically complicated and require short review times based on pending development (e.g., aviation projects, affordable housing, development projects, etc.).
