Minimum Qualifications Requirements A masters degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in Environmental Science or a related discipline. In cases where the masters degree is in another field, the applicant must have completed at least 18 semester hours of graduate-level coursework in biology, including coursework related to Environmental Science.
Demonstrated In-depth knowledge of Environmental Science and related biological principles. Proficiency in oral and written communication in the language in which assigned courses are taught. Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with students, peers, supervisors, and staff. Willpower and ability to teach using a variety of instructional modalities, including in-person, email communication, and online learning management systems.

Encourage student engagement through active discussions, collaborative projects, and real-world applications of course material. Be available for student inquiries and provide office hours or virtual support as needed.
