Environmental Service Technician Lead

This EVS Lead position is responsible for the training of new team members, managing the department when the supervisor is not on duty, and performing administrative duties, such as holding the lead phone and working with our bed tracking system when the EVS Assistant is not on duty. The Environmental Services Technician Lead ensures a clean and aseptic area within the hospital for the safety, health, and morale of patients, visitors, and employees by performing various housekeeping and other duties. Act as backup to Coordinators with responsibility for running the shift and tracking/maintaining the Epic bed board.

• Education: High school diploma or GED,  required.
• Experience: Minimum of three years of hospital or housekeeping experience, required.
• Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Must be able to read, write and effectively communicate with patients and staff in English.
