Givens Aldersgate is looking to hire an Assistant Director of Environmental Services (EVS) to support our growing team! The primary purpose of your position is to provide environmental services coverage, including floor care, and laundry services to the residents and employees for Givens Aldersgate, to maintain the appearance of the campus so that it is presentable at all times, and to assure that the highest degree of quality care will be provided to our residents at all times.

What you'll do:

• Coordinate and oversee campus wide environmental services duties in consultation with the EVS Supervisors and EVS Team Leaders
• Assist EVS Supervisors and EVS Team Leaders with monthly scheduling of cleaning to be done campus-wide
• Assist in distributing, monitoring , and ordering inventory of environmental services supplies campus wide
• Ensure excellent customer service relations with Givens Aldersgate Residents to include timely and complete follow up on any concerns or complaints
• Adhere to annual budget and meet established goals through periodic monitoring and reporting
• Assist director with department expenditures
• Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor

What you'll need:

• Must have, as a minimum, two year previous experience in a related supervisory position
•  

  Must possess knowledge of general environmental services procedures (including health care operations), infection control, hazard communications, and must possess excellent customer service abilities

   
• High School or GED equivalent is preferred
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet
