Our team members make a difference every day by helping residents feel valued, respected, and at home.When you join St. Luke's Home, you'll become part of a mission-driven team committed to serving others with dignity, kindness, and excellence.What You'll DoAs an Environmental Services Associate, you'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming community by:Keeping resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining rooms, activity rooms, shower rooms, offices, workstations, and common areas clean and comfortableVacuuming and cleaning carpeted areas throughout the communityDusting and cleaning furniture, equipment, walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors, windows, and windowsillsDisinfecting and sterilizing equipment and supplies while following infection-control practicesEmptying wastebaskets and transporting trash and waste to designated disposal areasKeeping housekeeping carts, utility rooms, and storage areas clean, organized, and well stockedMaintaining housekeeping inventory and helping coordinate the housekeeping schedule for rooms and common areasHelping ensure resident rooms are secure by checking doors, windows, lights, and air conditioning when appropriateFollowing all safety requirements for the use, storage, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and hazardous materialsFollowing St. Luke's Home, OSHA, state, and federal safety and infection-control standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Working independently while collaborating with coworkers to keep our community running smoothlyCreating a clean and welcoming environment that supports the comfort, dignity, and quality of life of our residentsWhat You BringWe're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and takes pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment for others.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredCurrent CPR and First Aid certificationValid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance CardPreferred ExperiencePrevious housekeeping, environmental services, or similar experience preferred; experience working in a senior living or healthcare setting is a plus.The above statement reflects the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent in the job.We are an Affirmative Action Equal Opportunity Employer for all individuals.
