    Description

    Join the Pinecrest of Country Manor team as an Environmental Services Attendant and make a daily impact by helping maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment for tenants, employees, and volunteers. This role combines environmental services support with light maintenance and scheduling responsibilities to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

    Qualifications:

    Experience with housekeeping and laundry duties, including knowledge of cleaning techniques, supplies, equipment, and safe chemical use. Understanding of infection control practices and proper handling of hazardous materials. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with management, team members, residents, and families. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Basic mechanical knowledge or experience preferred.

    Responsibilities:

    Perform housekeeping duties including disinfecting, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning surfaces, emptying garbage, organizing furniture, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment while supporting Pinecrest's Hometown Culture. Properly use and maintain cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools according to manufacturer guidelines. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, utility rooms, and storage spaces. Report needed repairs, improvements, or safety concerns to the Environmental Services Supervisor. Build positive relationships with management, team members, residents, and families by demonstrating patience, tact, and consideration. Direct resident medical or personal care questions to the appropriate nursing staff. Complete scheduled duties, special projects, and light maintenance tasks as assigned while tracking time spent on maintenance activities. Perform other duties as assigned.
