    Job Description

    Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) Manager to support custodial operations at Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) in Juneau, AK and several remote clinics.

    The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager is responsible for developing and executing facility solutions to ensure all health and safety standards are met. Responsible for servicing and/or maintaining a physical location or site to client specifications. Leads the operations of facility accounts by ensuring areas of responsibility meet objectives and client expectations.

    Job Responsibilities

    Leadership

    • Oversees custodial and housekeeping activities within several facilities.
    • Manages remote location clinics.
    • Frequently visits various sites located around Southeast Alaska.
    • Overall ownership and accountability for the operational management and financial performance of the unit.
    • Coach employees by creating a shared understanding of what needs to be achieved and how it will be accomplished.
    • Reward and recognize employees for performance and contributions.
    • Identify and engage top talent while developing team members to reach their full potential within the organization.
    • Plan and lead team management meetings.
    • Ensure safety and sanitation standards are maintained across all operations.

    Client Relationship

    • Establish and maintain effective client and customer relationships that support mutually beneficial business outcomes.
    • Identify client needs and communicate operational progress effectively.
    • Demonstrate and promote WEST as the foundation for delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Facilitate and support new business development and client retention activities.
    • Develop and manage programs (facilities, custodial, energy, grounds, or maintenance) that meet client and customer requirements and specifications.

    Financial Performance

    • Drive revenue growth and manage budgets, including labor, supply, and inventory cost controls.
    • Ensure the completion, accuracy, and maintenance of departmental financial statements.
    • Oversee and deliver client and company financial targets.
    • Adopt and enforce all Aramark processes and systems, eliminating custom or manual reporting where possible.
    • Analyze performance metrics, data, ordering patterns, and inventory trends; educate teams on key drivers that improve margins.

    Productivity

    • Implement and maintain the General Manager agenda for labor and total quality management requirements.
    • Create value through efficient operations, effective cost controls, and profit management.
    • Ensure consistent application of Aramark operating standards and processes (Operational Excellence), with a focus on sustainability initiatives, energy reduction, and labor productivity improvements.

    Qualifications

    • 2-5 years of experience in custodial, housekeeping, or Environmental Services (EVS) operations
    • Healthcare, clinical, or multi-site experience preferred
    • At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience required
    • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
    • Working knowledge of custodial equipment, cleaning processes, and safety standards
    • Strong organizational, time management, and basic computer skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and apply sound judgment to routine situations
