Summary:

- Duration: Initial 26-Week Assignment with Potential Extension Based on Business Needs
- Full-Time | Monday-Saturday | Start Time: 7:00 AM
- Candidates must be available to work up to 12-hour shifts.
- Daily end times are determined by the department's linen production requirements and staffing needs.
Responsibilities:
- Sort soiled linens for healthcare facilities and contracted clients according to established production standards.
- Maintain production output that meets or exceeds department expectations.
- Assist with laundry production operations to ensure an adequate linen supply for patient care and facility needs.
- Follow all workplace safety, health, and operational procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Demonstrate flexibility to support various laundry production and distribution functions as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production goals.
- Comply with attendance, scheduling, overtime, and departmental policies.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8th grade education. Ability to read and write.
- Minimum 6 months of recent experience in warehouse, manufacturing, production, laundry services, housekeeping, environmental services (EVS), distribution, or other physically demanding work environments preferred.
- Ability to follow production standards and work instructions.
- Ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move linen carts and bags throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in a hot industrial laundry environment.
- Strong attendance and reliability.
- Ability to work mandatory overtime on short notice, including shifts extending well beyond the scheduled end time based on daily production needs.
- Reliable transportation with flexibility for variable end times.
- Ability to learn new processes and adapt to changing production needs.
- Ability to commit to the initial 26-week assignment.
