Summary:

- Location: 3000 MacCorkle Avenue SE, Charleston, WV 25304
- Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Saturday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Frequent Overtime Required (Shifts may extend until 5:00 PM)
Responsibilities:
- Sort soiled linens for healthcare facilities and contracted clients according to established production standards.
- Maintain production output that meets or exceeds department expectations.
- Assist with laundry production operations to ensure adequate linen supply for patient care and facility needs.
- Follow all workplace safety, health, and operational procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Demonstrate flexibility to support various laundry production and distribution functions as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production goals.
- Comply with attendance, scheduling, overtime, and departmental policies.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8th grade education with the ability to read and write.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move linen carts and bags throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in a hot industrial laundry environment.
- Strong attendance and reliability.
- Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules with little notice.
- Ability to learn new processes and adapt to changing production needs.
- Reliable transportation to the worksite.
- Ability to commit to the initial 26-week assignment duration.
Preferred Skills:
- Minimum 6 months of recent experience in warehouse, manufacturing, production, laundry services, housekeeping, environmental services (EVS), distribution, or other physically demanding work environments preferred.
- Candidates with demonstrated reliability and attendance in labor-intensive roles are strongly encouraged to apply.
