We are seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to lead our EVS team in maintaining a clean, safe, welcoming, and patient-centered environment. This position is responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring quality standards are met, developing team members, and holding staff accountable to expectations.
This is a hands-on leadership role. The ideal candidate is comfortable coaching employees, conducting quality inspections, addressing performance concerns, and stepping in to support the team when needed. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, operational awareness, and a commitment to excellence.

What You'll Do
Team Leadership & Accountability
Supervise, coach, and develop EVS team members
Conduct routine rounding, inspections, and quality audits
Provide real-time coaching and performance feedback
Assist with onboarding and training of new hires
Address attendance, performance, and policy concerns promptly
Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and service excellence
Operations Management
Coordinate daily staffing assignments and workflow
Ensure patient rooms, public areas, and support spaces meet cleanliness standards
Adjust priorities based on facility needs, patient census, and operational demands
Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and departmental communication
Collaborate with facility leadership to address operational concerns
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with infection prevention and cleaning protocols
Monitor completion of cleaning logs, inspections, and required documentation
Identify and report maintenance, safety, and supply concerns
Maintain inventory awareness and communicate supply needs
Support investigations and corrective action processes as needed
Qualifications
Required
Previous EVS, housekeeping, hospitality, or environmental services experience
Prior supervisory, lead, or management experience
Ability to coach, develop, and hold employees accountable
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Healthcare environmental services experience
Knowledge of infection prevention standards
Experience leading teams in a hospital, healthcare, hotel, or hospitality environment
