Job Description

Job SummaryThe Environmental Services Technician I is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and aesthetically pleasing environment for patients, visitors, and staff at Shriners Hospitals for Children, ensuring adherence to infection control standards and hospital policies.Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the disinfection of routine & terminal cleaning in areas assigned.

• Practices universal precautions and dispose of infectious waste according to approved standards.

• Disposes of trash, washes and relines trash container.

• Disinfects and cleans sinks and plumbing fixtures.

• Replaces paper and hand hygiene products.

• Checks supplies daily and replaces as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1+ years of EVS experience

Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
