Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations — Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York.
JOB SUMMARY:Working under the direction of the Director/Supervisor, performs a variety of duties to maintain the hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:No formal experience required
Education: Should be able to follow oral and written instruction
Licensure/Registration/Certification: None
Work Experience: None
Physical & Other Factors: Manual dexterity is needed. Must be able to kneel, crouch, lift, carry, reach and work on a ladder
Working Conditions:
Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
Occupational: Some occupational risk
Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force
Physical Environment: Significant exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
