Oversees and ensures compliance with all applicable local, state and federal environmental and laws and regulations, practices and procedures which may include transportation. This position will focus on air quality permitting and compliance in addition to emission tracking and reporting.
Job duties
Maintains changes in laws and regulations and influences implementation where and when appropriate
Reviews and prepares compliance schedules and inspection reports to ensure compliance with all related and pertinent environmental regulatory agencies
Oversees accurate and timely submission of reports as required by permits
Reviews daily operations for compliance with air regulations and permit requirements
Communicates with regulators and other external stakeholders as required
May manages outside consultants and contractors
Drives compliance efficiency through knowledge sharing and process implementation and improvements
Track and report environmental KPIs and initiatives
Requirements
8+ Years experience in Refining or Petrochem
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
