UPMC Muncy is seeking a Part-Time Environmental Services Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, patients, visitors, and staff.
Schedule
- 24 hours per week
- Primarily located at Muncy Place Nursing Home
- 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Every third weekend and every third holiday required
What You'll Do
- Clean resident rooms, public areas, offices, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
- Make beds and prepare rooms according to department standards.
- Empty trash and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Inspect assigned areas and report maintenance or repair needs.
- Follow established safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any issues.
- Assist with moving furniture, equipment, boxes, curtains, and other items as needed.

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to safely operate housekeeping and cleaning equipment.
- Ability to perform cleaning and sanitation duties in a healthcare environment.
- May work in areas where medications are stored; no handling of medications is required or permitted.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances
- Act 34 Criminal Clearance
- OAPSA Clearance
