+ Work outdoors in all weather conditions while maintaining safety and productivity.

+ Follow safety procedures and site rules to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

+ Travel to other landfill sites as needed, including short multi-day assignments, and perform similar duties at those locations.

+ Work overtime, including longer days and occasional weekends, to meet operational needs.

Essential Skills

+ At least 2 years of general laborer experience in a physically demanding role.

+ At least 2 years of experience using basic hand tools in a work setting.

+ Experience working in the construction industry or in a transferable skilled trade role, such as yard work, heavy equipment operation, farming, landfill operations, waste removal, remediation, or wastewater-related work.

+ Experience working outside in varying weather conditions and environmental elements.

+ Ability to perform manual labor, including digging, lifting, and moving materials for extended periods.

+ Ability to read pumps and gauges and accurately record operational data.

+ Willingness and ability to work Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, with occasional weekends as required.

+ Any type of environmental or waste industry experience, including landfill, waste removal, Hazwoper-related work, environmental field work, remediation, or wastewater, is a plus.

+ Experience with heavy equipment operation is beneficial.

+ Experience in repair or maintenance roles is advantageous.

+ Flexibility to adjust to varying schedules, longer workdays, and travel requirements.

+ Strong work ethic and reliability in outdoor, field-based roles.

Why Work Here?

You join a team that rewards hard work with tangible benefits and growth opportunities. You earn 20 hours of paid time off per quarter, starting the quarter after hire, and receive holiday pay for major holidays while on contract. Performance-based raises are available, with a formal evaluation around six months. You have the opportunity to travel to other sites with lodging provided and daily per diem for meals and incidental expenses, adding variety and additional earning potential to your work.

Lodging is provided during travel, and when meals are not provided, you receive a structured per diem for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and incidental expenses.
