EOF-TUTOR (PT Internal)

Eof Tutor

We are seeking current Passaic County Community College students to be EOF Tutors. This individual will tutor students to help improve their reading/writing or math skills in the Academic Resource Center. Tutors are expected to work one-on-one and in small groups, tutoring college students in math or reading/writing courses. The tutor will also be required to facilitate weekly group reflection activities with students throughout the semester. In addition, the tutor will be expected to track and document all students' attendance and work collaboratively in a team environment.

This is a part-time, hourly position.

The part-time tutor must be a current PCCC student in good academic standing with the college. This individual must be trustworthy and coachable, and have successfully completed and be proficient in the subject area in which they will be tutoring. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Zoom is required.

The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.

Compensation: The hourly pay for this position is $16.
