What Youll Do
Provide specialized patient care within the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab focusing on cardiac arrhythmia management
Assist with procedures including pacemaker and defibrillator lead extraction, cardiac ablations, and device insertions
Monitor and adjust pacemakers and ICDs, ensuring optimal device function
Conduct cardiac mapping, arrhythmia induction, and conduction studies
Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Document procedures and patient responses accurately in Epic EMR
Participate in weekday and weekend call coverage as needed, with most calls lasting approximately 2 hours
What You Need
Required:
Valid RN license in Ohio or state where employed
At least 2 years of experience in cardiology or electrophysiology
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Proficiency in Epic EMR, Electrophysiology procedures, and cardiac device management
Preferred:
Previous travel nursing experience in EP or cardiology units
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
