Position: Epic Ambulatory / MyChart Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Epic Ambulatory / MyChart Analyst to support the design, configuration, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of Epic clinical applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong Epic build expertise, a deep understanding of ambulatory workflows, and active Epic certifications.
Key Responsibilities Epic Application Design & BuildProvide Epic application design, build, testing, and implementation expertise for EpicCare Ambulatory and MyChart modules.
Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and configure solutions that align with business needs.
Design, build, test, and deploy application enhancements and workflow improvements.
Lead small-to-medium complexity Epic upgrade initiatives and system enhancement projects.
Analyze workflows, operational processes, and system requirements to develop effective solutions.
Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing production support.
Monitor application performance and ensure system stability in production environments.
Participate in issue resolution, root cause analysis, and escalation management as needed.
Participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle, including unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Develop and maintain system design documentation, build documentation, and change management records.
Review and validate new Epic releases and upgrades before deployment.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards for system configuration and change control.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clinical and operational stakeholders.
Facilitate requirements gathering, design sessions, validation meetings, and implementation activities.
Partner with training teams to develop and maintain application-specific training materials and curriculum.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system solutions.
3+ years of Epic application analyst experience.
Active Epic certifications in:
Epic MyChart
EpicCare Ambulatory
Completion of Epic CEE (Continued Epic Education) requirements to maintain certifications, proficiencies, and badges.
Experience with Epic application configuration, testing, implementation, and production support.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Additional Epic certifications and/or experience with:
Healthy Planet
EpicCare Link
Care Everywhere
Additional Ambulatory modules
Experience supporting healthcare provider organizations and clinical workflows.
Knowledge of Epic upgrade and optimization projects.
