Position Overview We are seeking a Senior EPIC Analyst III with strong experience in Epic Health Information Management (HIM), Coding, and Abstracting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of healthcare operations and the ability to work closely with clinical, revenue cycle, and operational teams to optimize Epic workflows and applications.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, design, configure, and optimize Epic HIM Coding and Abstracting workflows.
Collaborate with clinical, revenue cycle, HIM, and operational teams to understand business requirements and improve system functionality.
Configure, maintain, and support Epic applications to ensure efficient and accurate workflows.
Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution to ensure a seamless user experience.
Support Epic upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and new functionality.
Gather and analyze data to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence requirements.
Develop user documentation, training materials, and conduct training sessions for end users.
Partner with IT, project management, and business teams throughout system changes and initiatives.
Ensure Epic system usage aligns with healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and data security best practices.
Stay current with Epic updates, healthcare technology, and industry trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Epic experience; 7+ years preferred.
Epic Certification in Health Information Management Coding and Abstracting.
Strong hands-on experience with Epic HIM, Coding, and Abstracting.
Strong understanding of healthcare/HIM coding operations and workflows.
Experience working with clinical, revenue cycle, and operational stakeholders.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Recent healthcare industry experience.
Hands-on HIM Coding operational experience.
Experience supporting Epic upgrades, enhancements, and workflow optimization.
Strong understanding of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements.
