  • Oversee Epic system optimization: Provide expertise in optimizing workflows and Epic modules, including EpicCare Inpatient, ASAP, OpTime, Radiant, MyChart, Stork, and Cadence. Ensure systems are running at peak performance, reducing downtime and enhancing usability.

  • Lead troubleshooting and support: Serve as the escalation point for complex Epic-related issues, using advanced technical knowledge to resolve high-level problems. Provide both technical support and guidance to teams across the organization.

  • Manage and mentor junior Epic Analysts: Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced team members, helping them develop technical and professional skills. Offer training and guidance to ensure the success of the Epic platform across the organization.

  • Project management: Lead and manage large-scale Epic projects, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated, timelines are met, and quality standards are maintained.

  • Coordinate system testing and validation: Ensure that all configurations and updates undergo rigorous testing to meet clinical needs and system specifications before going live.

  • Provide expert training: Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for super-users, core teams, and end-users. Ensure all stakeholders are able to maximize the functionality of Epic applications.

  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners: Coordinate with third-party vendors and system integrators to implement and maintain external applications that integrate with Epic, ensuring smooth data flows and functional integration.

  • Document system changes and updates: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation on system changes, configurations, and updates for future reference and audit purposes.

  • Participate in on-call rotations, providing after-hours support as needed.
