We are seeking an expert Epic BI Reporting and Analytics Developer/Analystfor Custody to provide end-to-end delivery of reporting solutions within the Custody Health space. This role focuses on Ambulatory, Inpatient, Regulatory/State-required filings, and Quality metrics.

As a consultant, you will be expected to possess top-tier communication skills, the ability to coalesce complex, related requests into unified solutions, and a strict adherence to SDLC standards. You will guide projects from initial requirements gathering and solution design through to SME sign-off, coding, UAT, and final documentation.

What You Will Do

  • Solution Development: Develop and deploy Custody-focused reports and dashboards; validate, modify, and document Radar automatic and custom SQL metrics.
  • Technical Execution: Write complex stored procedures for clinical reporting requests for use in Cogito SQL templates; create Radar components from Cogito SQL reports and metric frameworks.
  • Project Leadership: Lead projects and facilitate meetings with operational leadership to gather requirements; estimate timelines and provide consistent status updates to stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Support: Update code based on new regulatory/operational requests and direct regulatory agency monitors to reporting outputs, providing guidance on usage.
  • Governance & Quality: Follow SDLC standards for unit testing, peer reviews, and production migration. Support knowledge transfer and mentorship through SQL code reviews.

What You Will Bring

  • Epic Expertise: Minimum 3 years of Epic Clarity Data Model development experience (specifically EpicCare Ambulatory and Inpatient).
  • SQL Mastery: At least 5 years of SQL query and stored procedure development experience, particularly within a clinical setting.
  • Specialized Experience: Proven track record creating BI outputs in a Correctional Health, Custody, Jail, or Detention environment is required.
  • Tool Proficiency: Working knowledge of SlicerDicer, Cogito SQL, and Radar Dashboards.
  • Workflow Knowledge: Deep understanding of Inpatient (Admissions, Flowsheets, Discharge Med Rec) and Ambulatory (Visits, Consults, Orders, Groupers) workflows.
  • Certification:Epic Clarity Certification (Clinical, Financial, Cogito, or legacy equivalent) is required.

  • Schedule: This position is 100% remote, but candidates must be available to work standard PST hours.
