We're looking for a team-oriented educator to join us as an Epic Credentialed Trainer. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others learn-whether you're an experienced healthcare EMR trainer, regularly assist with onboarding and cross-training your coworkers, or have other experience teaching in a classroom setting. If you have at least 1 year of experience working with EMR systems, are comfortable with technology, understand workflows, and naturally step into teaching or support roles, this could be the opportunity for you!

This is a hybrid role and requires the ability to travel 10% of the time between clinic locations to support training initiatives. Must reside in OR, WA, ID within a 5-hour drive of one of our clinics.

Position Highlights:

  • $24.97-$30.34/hour DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates

As an Epic Credentialed Trainer, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Delivers training of Epic applications under the guidance of the Principal Trainer. Includes assigning and grading End User Proficiency Assessments (EUPA).

  • Understands multiple Epic applications and the organization's workflow.

  • Assists in the development and communication of training schedules and learning management system procedures.

  • Serves as a training resource to designated Super Users. Collaborate with leaders on the identification, onboarding, and ongoing training of Super Users.

  • May develop tip sheets for new functionality due to optimization, upgrades, or implementation of new application. Includes review and sign off from Principal Trainer.

  • Provides at the elbow (ATE) support as needed.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate Degree''''s in Business Administration, Education, or Training. High School Diploma or GED and two additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for an Associate's Degree. Associate''''s Degree in a Healthcare field is preferred.

  • Experience: One year''''s experience in classroom training and one year's experience using an Electronic Medical Record software. (Can occur concurrently). OR- Two years of experience assisting with onboarding, cross-training, or leading in a previous role(s) may be substituted for classroom training. Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software preferred.

  • Professional Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Completion of a 6-week Credentialed Trainer course within 90 days of employment. Valid Driver's License and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage.

  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Knowledge of adult educational theory. Basic proficiency with a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, Camtasia or Captivate, and Zoom. Effective verbal, written and listening communication skills with individuals and groups. Problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of clinical operations work-flow.
