ASRC Federal welcomes ALL CURRENT and PREVIOUS INCUMBENTS on the EPIC program to join our team as we pursue the NOAA's Earth Prediction Innovation Center (EPIC) contract.

EPIC is a NOAA/OAR Weather Program Office initiative designed to:

Advance U.S. weather modeling skill and reclaim international leadership in numerical weather prediction.Accelerate Research‑to‑Operations (R2O) and Operations‑to‑Research (O2R) cycles for the Unified Forecast System (UFS).Provide cloud‑based development environments for scientists and engineers to collaborate on UFS code.Support community engagement through workshops, tutorials, and open‑science collaboration.

EPIC work is distributed across NOAA centers and remote contributors, including:

NOAA Environmental Modeling Center (EMC) - College Park, MDNOAA OAR / Weather Program Office - Silver Spring, MDCloud‑based collaboration environments enabling remote scientific and software development work
