Exciting Opportunity at MSK:Epic Portfolio Manager –Cross-Domain Programs
At Memorial Sloan Kettering, the Principal Portfolio Manager for Cross-Domain Programs builds and stewards strategic programs across Patient Experience, Clinical Decision Support, AI, Health Systems Research, and Questionnaires. This role goes beyondmaintainingsystem inventories—it defines program vision,establishesgovernance frameworks, and drives adoption, ensuring that cross-domain initiatives enhance how patients engage with their care, how clinicians access actionable insights, and how research informs continuous improvement. This role delivers cohesion, scalability, and measurable impact in support of MSK's mission to end cancer for life.
Role Overview
Buildsnew programsfrom concept through operationalization, defining scope, stakeholders, governance, and success metrics
Develops and maintains program roadmaps that align with MSK's strategic priorities andHSO vision.
Identifiesopportunities where cross-domain programs can address unmet needs or connect disparate initiatives
Facilitate Epic governance forums to drive prioritization, approvals, risk management, and delivery decisions.
Serves as the connective tissue between clinical, operational, research, and technical stakeholders
Tracks and reports on program health, adoption metrics, and outcomes to leadership
Manage intake, prioritization, and sequencing of Epic enhancements acrossrelevantdomains.
Works across domain portfolio managers toidentifydependencies, shared opportunities, and integration points
Representscross-domain programs in enterprise planning, release management, and governance forums
Partner withproviders, clinicians,administratorsand the HSO teamto align system functionality with operational needs.
Carry initiatives through the full Epic lifecycle including design, build, testing, training, and adoption.
Key Qualifications
7–10 years of professional experience, including 5+ yearsinhealthcare IT.
Minimum2+ years managing Epic projects or system implementations.
PMP certification or equivalent project management experience preferred.
