Job Title: Epic TDR / Field Service Technician

Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)
About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking experienced Epic TDR / Field Service Technicians to provide on-site technical and end-user support for a major healthcare organization in Irving, TX.
In this role, you will support Epic Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) and field service activities, including workstation readiness, device and peripheral troubleshooting, and elbow support for clinical and operational end users during critical go-live and support events.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide on-site Epic TDR and Field Service support in a healthcare environment.
- Perform workstation, device, printer, and peripheral readiness checks and troubleshooting.
- Deliver elbow support to clinical and operational end users during TDR, go-live, and hypercare activities.
- Escalate and resolve hardware, connectivity, and Epic-related workstation issues in real time.
- Partner with IT, clinical informatics, and project teams to ensure smooth technical support coverage.
- Document issues, resolutions, and support activities according to project standards.
- Maintain a professional, calm presence in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Required Qualifications:
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in Epic Field Service, TDR support, desktop support, or healthcare IT field support.
- Experience supporting Epic go-lives, Technical Dress Rehearsals, or post-go-live hypercare events.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for workstations, printers, peripherals, and basic network connectivity.
- Ability to provide effective elbow support to clinical and non-clinical end users.
- Comfortable working on-site in a hospital or clinical environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts as required by TDR / go-live schedules.
- Must be able to work on-site in Irving, TX.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience supporting Epic in a large healthcare system.
- Familiarity with common healthcare workstation imaging, device integration, or peripheral setup.
- Previous TDR, cutover, or hypercare support experience.
