Current Epic ECSA certification is required at time of submission, along with a minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience. Third-party certifications (Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, CompTIA Server+) are preferred but not required; please clearly list any held certifications. Cook will provide a laptop; any additional equipment/monitors are the contractor's responsibility

--Development/Support:
-The Epic Web/Service Server Engineer installs, manages, and configures the Epic application deployment platforms that serve production, reporting, disaster recovery, training, and non-production needs.
-Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Installing and maintaining the administrative and monitoring tools necessary for high levels of availability and performance of your Epic system, applying platform and Epic upgrades and updates to production and non-production Web server components, assisting in the configuration and troubleshooting of integrated third-party software and peripherals.
-Follows vendor and Epic best practices for hardware and software configuration.
-Responsible for creating and updating documentation and maintaining current system details in a centralized knowledge base.
-Collaborating with technical teams and Epic to ensure proactive support.
-Maintaining knowledge and testing processes for supporting outstanding issues and tasks such as supporting Business Continuity, retooling emerging technologies, capacity planning, and other Epic application maintenance requirements.
