Job Title: Epidemiologist-Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master s degree in epidemiology, public health biostatistics, statistics or health information.
OR
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master s degree in health science, biomedical science or environmental science field with experience equivalent to two years work experience in epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, health informatics, health sciences, biomedical sciences or environmental sciences.
Prepare routine reports of program participation and outcomes to internal and external partners.
Implement SAS code changes and REDCap project changes as monitoring guidance evolves or processes change.
Provide technical assistance to non-technical staff (e.g., REDCap system, SOP/task guidance, etc.).
Writes independent code and is able to test output for accuracy.
Pull, clean, and submit recurring CHANT reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) in a timely manner.
Work closely with ClientH Programs Team to effectively support ClientH surveillance projects and create data outputs and visualizations for CHANT data.
Provide quick response of data inquiries and provide information of CHANT data to the regional teams, leadership, stakeholders and other public health partners.
Fulfill ad-hoc data and/or analysis requests.
Translate programmatic requirements into the development of appropriate data collection.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Proficient at managing electronic data and navigating complex databases and attention to detail.
Demonstrated experiences in customer service and working on teams.
Proficient at statistical software programming, such as SAS.
Experience in public health and health data such as vital records or health survey data (preferred).
Experience in deployment or implementation of application systems or related field (preferred).
Foundation in system design, analysis and evaluation.
