As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions in accordance with site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, permissions, and/or restricted area access while following post orders and applicable governmental guidelines.
- Serve in an armed capacity as assigned, maintaining readiness to respond to security-related concerns and/or requests for assistance in accordance with training, policy, and post requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Possess a college degree.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have 2+ years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
- Possess a corrections officer license.
- Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
- Possess a law enforcement officer license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
