The Equipment Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining all company equipment records, DMV compliance, and administrative processes related to fleet and field equipment. This role ensures that all equipment is properly documented, compliant, tracked, and maintained to support safe and efficient operations.
This position plays a critical role in coordinating equipment usage, maintaining accurate records, supporting safety compliance (including QR code systems), and assisting field operations with equipment-related needs.
Responsibilities:

 

    • Maintain accurate records of all company equipment, including status, location, usage, and condition
    • Track equipment assignments, transfers, and disposals
    • Maintain up-to-date equipment inventory and asset tracking systems
    • Coordinate equipment availability to support project and field needs
    • Assist in equipment purchasing, receiving, and disposal processes
    • Manage all vehicle and equipment DMV records including registration, titles, and renewals
    • Track expiration dates and ensure all licenses, registrations, and permits remain current
    • Maintain insurance documentation and compliance records
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
    • Administer and track QR code systems for equipment inspections and safety verifications
    • Ensure all required equipment and safety verifications are properly documented
    • Work with management to ensure compliance with company safety policies
    • Assist with audits, reporting, and documentation related to safety compliance
    • Serve as a liaison between field teams, mechanics, vendors, and management
    • Communicate equipment status, availability, and compliance requirements
    • Provide support and guidance to field staff regarding equipment procedures
Qualifications:

 

    • 2+ years of experience in equipment, fleet, or administrative support roles
    • Knowledge of DMV processes, vehicle registration, and compliance requirements
    • Experience with equipment or fleet management systems preferred
    • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, databases, and reporting tools
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Compensation: The base hourly being offered for this position is $25.00 - $32.00 and hour. Please note that the salary range listed is specific to the role listed in Orange County, California. Salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on various factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, and performance.

Minimum Salary: USD $25.00/Hr. Maximum Salary: USD $32.00/Hr.
