Overview:

Seeking an experienced Equipment Repair Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and service industrial and contractor equipment, including welding machines, transformers, and small engines. Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work overtime when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various equipment.

+ Troubleshoot and repair gas/diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and aerial platforms.

+ Complete work orders and maintain organized work area.

+ Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.

+ Work independently and as part of a team; other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ High School diploma or GED (Technical school preferred).

+ Minimum 3 years’ experience repairing tools/equipment/machinery (construction equipment preferred).

+ Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, schematics, drivetrain, and engines.

+ Ability to meet physical demands (lifting, climbing, prolonged standing).

+ Willingness to travel occasionally and obtain required certifications (forklift, aerial platform, OSHA).

+ Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and customer service skills.

+ Must supply own repair tools; bench equipment provided.

+ Overtime and weekend work as needed.

Preferred:

Miller certification; experience with mobile HVAC systems.

Physical & Work Environment:

+ Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, and heavy physical work.

+ Shop setting with exposure to heat, noise, humidity, and moving parts.

+ Use of PPE required, occasional stress due to deadlines.
