Equipment Associate

We are recruiting an Equipment Associate Technician to join a leading equipment rental organization supporting the Sparks/Reno, NV market. This is an excellent opportunity for someone coming out of a diesel or heavy equipment trade school who is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and looking to build a long-term career in the equipment industry.

This is a full-time, shop-based position where you'll prepare rental equipment, inspect incoming units, and support daily yard and warehouse operations while gaining hands-on experience with a wide variety of construction equipment.

Position Offers

• Up to $25/hour depending on experience. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, wash, and prepare rental equipment for customer use
• Offload incoming equipment and perform routine inspections
• Pick, pull, and stage equipment for upcoming rental orders
• Organize and maintain the shop and yard to ensure safe, efficient operations
• Identify basic maintenance or repair needs and communicate them to the service team
  

Requirements

• Recent graduate of a diesel, heavy equipment, automotive, or related trade school preferred
• Diesel engine experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to learn
• Reliable work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude
