Location: Quakertown, PA
Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
Hours: Monday Friday 7am 3pm (night shift also available)
Pay: $20/hr.

The Equipment Cleaning Specialist is responsible for cleaning & maintaining equipment & processing suites while following cGMP procedures and documenting actions in an accurate and timely manner. This position reports to the Assistant Plant Manager and works closely with our Production Operators.

Job Description
  • Understands and follows all safety and quality protocols
  • Maintain an assigned work area in a clean and orderly condition, removing all unnecessary tools, supplies, waste, etc.
  • Perform equipment cleaning activities as instructed by manager/supervisor, following standard operating procedures
  • Execute processing suite cleaning activities as instructed by manager/supervisor, following standard operating procedures
  • Assist the Production Team with the disassembly of processing equipment
  • Assist the Production Team with the assembly of processing equipment
  • Assist with facility cleaning activities as instructed by manager/supervisor
  • Maintain accurate records of executed activity, recording data on the forms provided
  • Adhere to PPE requirements outlined in Microsize SOPs.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Entry level position 0-4 years of experience
  • Demonstrates an ability and desire to learn from experience. Treats errors as a learning opportunity
  • Works as an active member of his/her team and has a basic understanding of how the team integrates with others in accomplishing objectives.
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Basic Problem Solving
  • Prior Production Experience preferred but not required
  • Prior forklift experience preferred but not required
  • Operates in an efficient manner with regards to personal timekeeping and time management.
  • Basic Mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Must know and follow job safety procedures, attend required health and safety training, proactively promote safety at work, and promptly report actual and potential accidents and injuries. Must comply with safety policies of the company and site.
  • Adherence to cGMPs is required at all times during the manufacture of APIs. All personnel own the quality of what they deliver and are responsible for notifying responsible management in a timely manner of regulatory inspections, serious GMP deficiencies, process deviations, product defects and related actions
  • The normal working environment is: Production Floor Setting

Physical Demands
Very heavy work: Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force (push/pull) occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds (lift/carry) of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects frequent
