Job Overview: 

The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day upkeep, organization, and scheduling of Adrenaline’s inventory of production equipment, vehicles, two stages, and other facilities. A complete knowledge of our inventory and a basic understanding of equipment compatibility is a key component to success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and assign specific camera, audio, and lighting equipment to each of Adrenaline’s Job Orders. 

  • Ensure that all equipment assigned to Job Orders is available and in good working order and compatible with the needs of the job. 

  • Assist Adrenaline's Producers in renting or purchasing production equipment needed for Adrenaline’s Job Orders.  

  • Assist in the procurement of Adrenaline Capital Equipment purchases.  

  • Maintain the equipment room, warehouse, and stage areas in a clean and well-organized fashion. 

  • Ensure stage floors and cyc wall are painted to client specifications, as the need arises. 

  • Check equipment packages on a regular basis to ensure that all consumables are stocked at the appropriate levels and that each package has all the required pieces assigned to it. 

  • Anticipate any potential equipment issues and test equipment that may be functioning improperly. 

  • Evaluate and send malfunctioning equipment back to the manufacturer or certified repair facility. Track maintenance records and ensure that equipment that is out for repair is properly noted in the database. 

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all Adrenaline equipment in the equipment database. This includes entering all new equipment into the database when purchased, applying asset tags and building out cases or equipment kits/packages. 

  • Prep gear and check it in and out of our system for all jobs. This includes inspecting and testing the equipment before it leaves and upon return to make sure it has not been damaged or that no parts are missing. 

  • Sell, donate, or properly dispose of equipment that is no longer needed or used. 

  • Keep production vehicles clean, working, and ready for use. 

  • Act as Stage Manager for external productions renting Adrenaline’s stages, as the need arises. This includes opening/closing the facility outside of regular business hours and being a point of contact for additional client needs regarding the facilities or equipment. 

 

Skills and Expectations:

  • Technical Knowledge: Must be familiar with production equipment and tools, and have a basic understanding of signal flow, assembly of gear, and comprehension of how it is used. 

  • Basic Repairs and Maintenance: Expected to have a basic understanding of electronic circuit theory and have the mechanical ability to do minor repairs on broken equipment. May be asked to help with basic repairs and maintenance of the building and facilities, as needed. 

  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is crucial to maintaining Adrenaline’s equipment as well as the equipment database.  

  • Organizational Skills: Must be very organized in order to ensure inventory and workspaces remain clean, efficient, and are properly stored and assigned. 

  • Multitasking and Time Management: There is always something to do; managing your time and prioritizing tasks is key to your success.   

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are required to maintain client relationships and assist with their needs as well as to communicate with producers and production team. 

  

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of working in the film and television industry. 

  • Practical knowledge of production basics, etiquette, and equipment. 

  • Desire to learn and understand new video production technologies and techniques. 

 

No Freelancing Policy:

Adrenaline Films has a no freelancing policy for its full-time employees as this would be competing against the company for the services it provides. Outside passion projects and volunteering on other sets is allowed and encouraged as long as it does not interfere with your work schedule.
