MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years of work experience as an Equipment Dispatcher for the City of Chicago, OR four years of work experience in operating radio and communications equipment in a communications or dispatch work environment.
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the successful completion of an online application and an initial screening process. Applicants who meet the established screening criteria may be invited to participate in one or more assessments designed to evaluate the knowledge, skills, or competencies relevant to the role. This position requires ALL candidates to PASS A TEST in order to be interviewed. Bidders who pass the test will be interviewed. The interviewed Bidders who possess the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position will be selected in SENIORITY order and according to the CBA rules. Non-Bidders who pass the test will be interviewed. Interviewed Non-Bidders who possess the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position will be selected.
