Description
The Equipment Engineer will be part of the Satellite Hardware Manufacturing Team at Project Kuiper, focusing on improving equipment uptime and capability for manufacturing next-generation spacecraft. This role involves managing the full equipment lifecycle, from design to end-of-life services. The engineer will utilize expertise in electro‑optical systems to ensure high system availability and production capacity. The position emphasizes data analysis for maintenance programs and troubleshooting protocols.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalentExperience with prototyping and implementationExperience reading and developing rack elevation diagrams, wiring diagrams, GD&T, etc.Experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Data Acquisition (DAQ) SystemsExperience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volumeExperience developing equipment maintenance protocols, including Preventative Maintenance activities, Troubleshooting Runbooks, and Spare Equipment PlansExperience with Fiber Optic Assemblies, Optical Test Systems, and Optical Metrology Equipment#J-18808-Ljbffr
