Kforce's engineering manufacturing client is seeking Mechanical Equipment Engineers proficient in Mandarin Chinese and English. We are working directly with the hiring manager on these search assignments. This role will work in Mesa, AZ. The Equipment Engineer will support production equipment reliability and minimize downtime. This role works directly with the hiring manager and offers hands-on exposure to advanced industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Summarize and present reliability testing results
  • Work intimately with solder and weld processes for conductor interconnection
  • Write, revise, and maintain manufacturing documentation
  • Prepare specifications for low and high-volume manufacturing automation equipment
  • Overall responsibility and accountability for production quality from definition to operational stages
  • Design test fixtures and implement product and system tests
  • Efficiently obtaining measurable and predictable results
  • Create and present test reports in a clear and concise manner
  • Planning, procuring, organizing and maintaining test equipment and materials
  • Collaborate with product development team to incorporate test results
  • Coordinate with manufacturing partners for product testing
  • Set and communicate reliability requirements and targets for components, subsystems
  • Participate in cross-functional product teams as lead or supporting design engineer

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology program at College/University or similar field
  • 2-3 years of work experience in Solar Module manufacturing plant, a plus but not required or other Manufacturing environment
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese is required
  • Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, 5S, Six sigma, Toyota production system, and/or Lean Manufacturing training courses
  • Good knowledge of the application of statistical tools in process control and product monitoring
  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Systems (CMMS) is an asset

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
